Mrs. Herrera was born in New York City, has been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2015. She received her medical training at Monterrey, Mexico where she lived for 8 years and obtained her Masters in Nursing at Walden University. Shiram works with Dr. Scotty Ortega to provide the best comprehensive care from adolescence to the elderly. Her areas of expertise include women’s health (pap smears, breast exams, birth control )as well as controlling chronic illnesses like Diabetes, Hypertension, Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis and weight loss just to name a few. She always welcomes patients with a smile making them feel welcomed at any time of the day.
